I am not sure about dorms for couples. The students who took dorms (as far as I know) are single.

About work for spouses – School gave the partners several workshops about London job search culture (how to write your CV, how to write a cover letter). Other than that, Career services are extremely busy (especially at the first part of the year, which is when partners are looking for a job) so they will not be able to give much help. Alumni and students however are very helpful.

About ways to cut cost – your major cost is rent – some ways to cut it:

1. Live a bit further from school – most brits do. In trendy areas like Islington you could save 10-15% of the rent compared to rent just outside school (at a cost of a 30 minutes tube ride).

2. Rent with flatmates. Surprisingly popular concept – couples rent a flat with flatmates (e.g. a couple + two singles, or 2 couples etc'). Many foreign couples do it but I have not heard of Israeli's that have done so)

Another significant cost is enjoying the city. It is hard to cut these costs as this is a major part of the fun, however with the experience you get to know cheaper ways to go to shows, concerts etc'.

Finally – about the conclusion you are a guy – I assumed so, as the majority in this site are guys :-) We would love to have more ladies from Israel in School :-)
