Hi,

Does the 3 year limitation for the achievement essays (i.e. achievements must have occured in the past 3 years) have any exceptions? I founded a startup 4 years ago (VC-backed) and it is VERY relevant to my future career goals. It would be extremely unfortunate if I couldn't include it in my achievement essay (even if I can find a way to mention it in a different essay, I won't be able to focus on the event as much as I'd like). It will have been exactly 3 years in october since the startup was closed. does this mean I can only mention events from the second half o fthe startup (within the 3 yr period) or can I go a little over the 3 year limit (and, say, talk about raising VC funding, over 3 years ago).
