Well, I just wanted to let you know that after weeks of futilely checking the TOEFL website twenty times a day, I have finally given up on any chance of new test dates in Israel.
Talked to ETS both in the Netherlands and the US, and they are not aware of any plans for new dates; Furthermore, Fullbright explicitly told me not to wait but rather to go abroad to take the test.
I also contacted Wharton, Columbia and Chicago and all replied that it is not possible so submit the application without the TOEFL score.
Therefore, as unbelievable as I might have thought it would be a couple of months ago, I am headed to take the test in Cyprus on 25/8. BTW – for those of you planning to skip R1, it appears that acccording to the "Test and Location Dates" on the official website there are going to be tests in Tel Aviv on 17/10 and 21/10.
