You can apply on-line, and until a decision is made regarding your case, you will not have to submit any papers in hard copy. Deadline days are typically very overloaded – Wharton strongly encourage people not to submit their application close to the deadline and some people who did it in the past encountered technical difficulties.

This way or another, remember that you are competing against other candidates who have worked on their application on average 6-10 months. That means that on average they are able to build a much more solid application than an application they would have built in 1-2 months.

Since at Wharton, submitting your application at round 2 is as good as submitting it at round 1, my recommendation to you is to postpone your application to round 2 and submit a more solid application.
