Hi,

My name is Omry Bigger ([email protected]) and I'm a second year staudent at Columbia. I think that every weekday except Friday would be productive and fun but Thursday is nicer since we have happy hour as well, at around 8:00 PM.

One thing I would strongly recommend you before visiting any school is not only to come and see the campus and the people, but also think of how you could advance your application and sell yourself. It is extremely important that when you come to any campus you will meet with the admission poeple and introduce yourself in an appealing manner. Meeting students is something you can hardly leverage in comparison to speaking with an admission officer that actually reads the application.

Practice how you introduce yourself in 2 minutes (no need to go on every bullet of your resume) and have some genuine questions.

Hi,

My name is Omry and I'm a first year student at CBS. Most of the Israelis in my year, seven out of eight are living between 112 street and 114 street (the same as most second years student)s. The university housing is really good for those of you who are married, and not expensive in comparison to whatever you can get close to campus. Regarding the sucurity environment, I must say the area feels very secure and if you come at night you will see students walking in the streets all the time.
