First, congrats on the admission and scholarship. In regards to your question, from what I have heard Smith has a good rep. in the US (not sure about international rep.), especially in the Washington D.C area. Specifically, it has a good investment management program with student managed funds.
Otherwise, like many other top 50 schools that are not top 10 – 15 – it is a good regional school lacking the international recognition of the “big” schools. Therefore, you may have to work a bit a harder to impress recruiters. Also, you should definitely check whether the firms recruiting on campus fit your career ambitions (if you are looking for a career in IB check if BB firms are among the recruiters). By the way, if I may ask, what criteria of your application do you feel made the admissions committee offer you the scholarship?
