I am working on my application for Insead, but facing a problem with the recommendations. First of all, it's hard to find anyone to recommend me, as the managers at my previous job are a little bitter that I left and probably not eager to help me, and my current job might fire me if they know I'm thinking of leaving..

This problem is reinforced by that fact that I don't know what the recommenders will be asked to write when I send them the link supplied by Insead (I can't really open it and be sure it won't be somehow corrupted) so I'm not sure who of my very narrow options will be most fitting.

Could you offer some guidance?
