It depends on your personal schedule. If you're emloyed full-time – in order to be ready in July, I think you should start studying in April.

If you have more time – 2 months should be enough, but I'd say – don't take unnecessary chances. Start early.

Regarding the improvement in the verbal section: We are generally trying not to state any facts about our students' scores or improvement (on the actual GMAT) since it can only be based on the students' reports, which sometimes could be statistically biased. However, our observation shows that the KIDUM GMAT students improve their verbal score (on the full-size practice tests) by 50%-55%, for example: from 20 to 30, 26 to 37-38. The success is based, inter alia, on the student's starting level and his/her ability and willingness to invest a lot of time and efforts in class and at home.

Regarding the language skills improvement: You can improve your language skills in 3 months. Not your vocabulary, not your communicative ability (at least not much), but you can improve skills such as speed of reading and knowledge of specific subjects like the ones we teach. We recommend to students to spend 30 minutes a day reading on the Internet business or scientific magazines, like Business Week, The Economist, American Scientist and Popular science. They should not look up specific words they don't know but rather focus on understanding the general idea and building up comprehension from the context. (Those are only a couple of methods and approaches we teach during the KIDUM GMAT course).

Regarding the correlation between the GMAT and psychometric tests: There definitely is a correlation, but mostly in the quantitative section. Those who score 700+ on the psych test, usually score high in the quantitative section, BUT only in case they thoroughly inspect the extra-psychometric parts (like descriptive statistics), new question types (like Data Sufficiency), the test's dynamics and its adaptive model. Unfortunately, I have witnessed too many self-confident test takers, who were shocked by their low GMAT score, after underestimating the differences between the two tests. I always recommend our prospective students to take a full-length practice test in order to evaluate his/her level.

שאלה טובה, אך אני חושב שהדיון של ארינגו הוא הדיון הרלוונטי לנושא המלגות והסיכויים ("שאל את ארינגו").

בכל אופן, לא נראה לי שהתשובה לשאלתך תהיה חד משמעית, או שיש בכלל תשובה. לפי ניסיונם של מועמדים ומתקבלים רבים, נושא המלגה נבחן באופן אישי על ידי בתי הספר וגופים אחרים המעניקים מלגות. לכן, הסיכוי לקבל מלגה זו או אחרת יהיה קשור להישגיך, אופן שבו תציג את ההישגים וכמובן – המקום אליו תתקבל.

בכל אופן, כדאי לך לפנות בעניין זה לארינגו.
