אני התכוננתי לiBT בעיקר בעזרת הדוגמא החינמית שמקבלים מETS ומבחן נוסף שרכשתי באתר ETS.

כיוון שגם אני הייתי מוטרד בעיקר מהחלק של הדיבור השתמשתי גם בדוגמאות לשאלות מתוכנת powerprep ל toefl (לדעתי אפשר להוריד אותה בEmule).

ההמלצה היחידה שיש לי להוסיף בקשר לקטע הדיבור (מעבר לטיפ שנרשם כאן לפני מספר הודעות) היא שכדאי להכין שבלונה קצרה לכל שאלה ולמלא אותה במהלך ההקשבה לקטע והכנת התשובה – למשל:

שלום לכולם! הצטרפתי לפורום לאחרונה והבנתי שצריך לספר קצת על עצמי, אז קודם כל כמה דברים כלליים:

היום אני עובד באינטל  בתפקיד Finance Analyst
שירתתי 6 שנים בצבא.

אני סטודנט שנה שלישית (ואחרונה) בחוגים כלכלה (91) ומערכות מידע (98)

עוד לא עשיתי GMAT, עושה בחודש אפריל. נרשמתי לקורס מועדון 700 של קידום

Hello Gilam,

I would appreciate if you could estimate the chances for me to get accepted to one of the following programs: Harvard, Stanford, IMD, INSEAD or Wharton.

I am 26 years old. I have served in the army for 6 years. In the last two of them I was a company leader ("Mempey") in a special unit of the Air-Force. I was in charge of 20 people on a daily basis and up to 80 people on specific situations.

I'm a student on the third (and last) year of my B.A from Haifa University in Economics and Information systems (Avg. 95). I have received two excellence scholarships in the past two years.

During the last year and a half I have been working at Intel as a Finance Analyst (daily work with people from Europe and the U.S).

I expect to receive around 700 on my GMAT (my psychometric is 736)

In addition to the above, could you estimate the affect that a couple of years working experience in a consulting firm in Israel will have on my application process and chances for getting a scholarship?
