    Hi guest25

I'm sorry you couldn't find it at the Dionon (that is where I bought mine, so it seems strange that they didn't have it)

First of all, in the book there are detailed explanations for all the answers, as well as a basic listing of the information you need to know. For me that was enough – my problem with the Kaplan or Barrons books were that they were attempting their own theories for questions that weren't like the real questions.

So to answer your question – the questions in the book are very similar to the real questions (same difficulty, although in the test it seems a bit worse because of the pressure). BUT, I should mention (sorry, I forgot) that these questions are the same as the practice test ones you get from the program you download when you register!

But if your level is not very good at all, then a good coaching (/book) would be useful – I just didn't feel the questions resembled the real thing.

(I used to be a psychometric instructor, so I have a little bit of experience with this)

I hope this helped – best of luck

    Hi Quest25

The book I'm talking about is The Official Guide for GMAT Review, 10th Edition

(to see what it looks like, click here:

    http://www.mba.com/mba/Store/products/PreparefortheGMAT/OfficialGuide.htm

    )

You can buy it at the Dionon of Tel Aviv University

The practice questions are the closest to the real test questions, I found the others (Barons, Kaplan) are good for the theory, but the best way to get a good grade, in my opinion, is to practice real questions as much as possible to build up your speed.

    Good Luck!

    Hi Dalit,

Best I can do is tell you about my interview – basically it was in Israel, the interviewer was an Israeli alumni who had finished 2 years ago. He was given a script of questions to ask (we conducted it in English) – and I highly recommend that you are prepared with your answers to the important questions:

    – why are you doing an MBA now

    – why do you think London Business School is the right choice for you (hint: international student body, international top 10, London location, emphasis on enterpreneurship/finance (depending on what you are planning on achieving). Do your research before showing up!)

    – have some leadership stories prepared, also have some questions prepared about things that are important for you to find out about the degree

Now for the bad news – yes, there is a presentation. I was asked to discuss the effect of China's growing economic strength with regards to worldwide reaction. Since I'm from an IT background, I had no idea what to say and stammered throughout that part. I am a very good presenter, and this was probably the worst presentation I ever gave in my life (although I did make 1 or 2 important points). I explained this to him and he understood that I am confident enough to speak about something I know nothing about.

I still got accepted, so you can relax about that part.

You will also be put in a team when you're studying here and will have enough chances to work on your team dynamics, so I don't know who told you about that being in the interview, but I don't think it's reasonable to assume you will be tested on that. (but, of course, I can't guarantee it. It just doesn't seem like a very reasonable thing to do in an interview)

So that's about it – any more specific questions I'll be glad to ask. I'll be in Israel in December if you want to find out more –

    Yuval

London Business School

    Yuval
