I'm the CEO of a young start-up, this is the second start-up I'm heading (the first one still running, I got out as a resault of selling my shares). However, this start-up is backed by a leading VC, and by 2007 we should have (hopefully…) offices in the US. They will NOT sponsor me financially, but I'm ready to take the burden myself.

HI Spock,

Indeed, Austin looks like a good place to start a career in the energy field.

Yet again, I believe the world will turn to alternative energy sources in the next 50-100 years. Hence, I am trying to find a schools with strong desire to help this trend come alive. In that aspect, MIT might be the place where alternative energy technologies may be develped. I'm searching for more options…

I am surely aware that the MIT is a good place to find people with strong inventive desires. However, it seems like you have your MBA degree from other school and I am looking for a more of "first hand" answer.

שלום לכולם! הצטרפתי לפורום לאחרונה והבנתי שצריך לספר קצת על עצמי, אז קודם כל כמה דברים כלליים:
שמי גיא, אני בן 27 וגר באזור המרכז.

סיימתי תפקיד ניהולי בכיר בחברת הזנק שאותה ייסדתי. יש לי רקע והצלחות בגיוס כספים, הקמת מערך שיווקי, כתיבת פטנטים ומו"מ.
היום אני בתהליכי הקמה של מיזמים נוספים.

למדתי משפטים ומנהל עסקים במרכז הבינתחומי. טרם סיימתי את לימודי במלואם. סביר להניח כי אסיים בממוצע 80.5

עוד לא עשיתי GMAT, מתחיל את הקורס בפברואר.

בצבא הייתי בצנחנים בתפקיד מ"כ.

אני כרגע עובד על ה-GMAT וטרם סיימתי לאפיין את בתי-הספר אליהם אני מעוניין לפנות.

אודה למי מהחברים הותיקים שיוכל ללחוץ reply ולענות לי:
האם בלימודים ב- MIT סיכויי להפגש עם ממציאים מתחומים שונים (מהנדסים, רופאים וכו') גובהים יותר?
היכן כדאי ללמוד אם ברצוני לעבוד בתחום האנרגיה, התשתיות ו/או פרויקטים סביבתיים אחרים?

אני מקווה לתרום לקהילת הפורום לפחות 10 הודעות בשנה הקרובה
