Hi everybody.

Just came back from a 3-week tour in the major schools in the US.

Would be happy to share my thoughts, feelings and pictures with anyone who is interested.

The list is :Michigan, Kellogg, Duke, Stanford, NYU, Columbia, Wharton, Harvard, MIT. In each place I got to spend at least one day, participate in class, attend admissions' info session and talk with students, so I got a relatively good picture of most schools.

I started the application process and writing the essays.

Since I write the essays myself, with no "advising" editors, I need all the help I can get…

Here are few questions…

1. Reading the essay topics, I haven't seen any topic that asks about volunteering and community involvement. Since I know the committee regards highly of this topic, I do not understand where I should mention it.

2. Do you know any Israeli student or alumnus in the biotechnology program? If not, how can I contact someone from this program?

3. Can you recommend or highlight any important "do and do not" when writing the essays? Is there any special issue I should address or relate to and pay extra attention to?

4. I already have a M.Sc. in biotechnology. Do you think it is wise to aim specifically to the biotechnology MBA program, or maybe I should keep my options open and not mention any special major I'm interested in…

Hi Dalit and the rest of this brilliant forum

I'm about to start the application process.

I thought of LBS as one of my options, and I would like to hear from any LBS student / alumnus about the school, the reason you chose LBS over a US school, and the way the alumni deal with the problem (???) of finding a job after graduation – as much as I've heard – it is not an easy task finding a job in the UK or Europe as a whole for that matter.

I will be very happy to get any comments regarding LBS and/or the studies in Europe. If any of you students/ alumni are willing to send me their mail or phone# so I can speak with you guys personally – I'd be delighted.

Hi all

I have just begun the GMAT process, and I would like to hear any suggestions or recommendations about a GMAT course in Israel – Which do you find / think / hear is the course that gives the most and why ?

The reason I ask this is because I believe the course I took (without mentioning names) is not very good.
