הרושם האישי שלי הוא שזה בי"ס הטוב ביותר בבריטניה בין אלה עם התכניות המקוצרות (מותג אוקספורד, דגש אקדמי, כמות הכסף שהאוניברסיטה שופכת לתכנית, עליה עקבית בהתאם בדירוגים וכד'). זה גם יותר זול משמעותית משני הנ"ל, ובני זוג יכולים לעבוד.

בוקוני מתחת לרמה של אנסאד ו-IMD, ונראה לי שמבחינת מיקום והזדמנויות גם מתחת לבתי"ס המובילים בבריטניה.

אבל אם אתה מכוון לאזור הזה אז בוקוני יכול להיות מושלם.

as far as I know with kellogg, it's good not to hear early. they send a massive number of dings in the beginning and it's good you survived this.

i personally got my ding very early on the first round. those who got in, heard much later.

The best resource to get a general idea of housing options is the Wharton Housing Guide. You can find last year's guide at

This is a year old but will give you ballpark numbers. There may be a 5-10% increase in rent for next year, I'm not sure. A new guide is being prepared as we speak, but will probably be available closer to welcome weekend this year (April 15-18).

When it's relevant contact me or other Israelis here for advice. Also, some buildings there offer a bonus for referring new tenants, which is customarily split between the referring tenant and the new tenant.

The Winter Welcome Weekend is a new event for the 1st round admits.

It provides an opportunity to meet other admit students and take part in many different activities before deciding whether to attend (we have a lot of time to decide).

The main difference is that the new event was during a regular week, in which we could visit classes and get a feeling of student life in Wharton, rather than in a special weekend dedicated for celebrations.

I enjoyed the event and it certainly strengthened my desire to attend Wharton's program.

The second welcome weekend is open for both rounds.

This is not quite true. A J-Visa allows your spouse to apply (and easely get) a working permit while you are studying. To get a J-Visa you do have to have a letter from your employer that he is sponsoring you and that he wants you to work for him after graduation. Nevertheless, nobody checks wether money was acctually trasferred by the employer to you… With an F-Visa your spouse cannot work unless he/she gets H1B visa. The F-visa allows you to stay in the US up 12 months after graduation, even if you don't have an offer. With J-visa you have to leave the US within 60 days if you don't have a job offer upon graduation. As to the two year requirement – it does not apply to MBA students. However, there is a list of professions that are subject to that limitation.

I had a J-1 visa. The 2 years requirement applies to certain sponsors (such as governments). If you are sponsored by a for profit organization , the 2 years restriction will not apply. You must have a job offer within 30 days from graduation, if you don't have one you will have to leave. Also, the acadamic training period is 18 months vs 12 months for F-1.
