i've applied to LLM last year ( got in to coulombia and yale) you really dont need a consultant ! many isrealis get in every year.

The application process is much more simple in LLM then MBA .

Make sure you have good recomandation becuse they think highly of them !

הטופל נחשבת ל"בחינת סף" והטיפול בו הוא כזה,דהיינו תנסה להוציא ציון שייתר את הדיון ביכולות האנגלית שלך-

ציון שלא יהווה שיקול מבחינת ועדת הקבלה הוא ציון של מעל 260 כאשר השאיפה היא להגיע לאזור ה 280-290.אם זאת תזכור שיש לך את בחינת הגימאט שבודקת את האנגלית בצורה "מאתגרת"יותר ותהווה שיקול מכריע יותר

לסיכום- הוצא את המקסימום (ולפחות מעל 260 ) בטופל ציון כזה לצד חלק מילולי טוב בגימאט יצביע על שליטה מספיקה באנגלית

No idea what the language in the schools in Europe ,but you can check it easlly at the schools web sites.

Like you i've tought of LLM +Mba prllel studies (Even Got admited to LLM on one of the top 5 in the U.S):

The best thing you can ,in my mind,do is to apply to a school to both programes(Joint degree) Mba + Law school (you need to apply to each school separately ) There are dozens of programs in Europe cros-content -for example Try : University of Westminster , UCL, London School of Economics,Cambridge,NIMBAS- Graduate School of Management,Rotterdam,Instituto de EmpresaESADE-Facultades Universitarias(madrid),,IMADEC University(Austria),Aberdeen Business School[Scotland]……..

You can also think of taking Only the LLM in focus on Buisness Law.-International Master of Law and Economics (MLE)

As for me i've decided to try and do a MBa and then complete My LLM ( the LLm in most school is 8 month neto)

Does somone now details/students/info at the Simon School(universitiy of rochester n.y)?

I'm thinking of simon only becuse the chances for finnacial aid in the shape of scholarship is, in my mind, are higher then the top 10.

they say on their web site that they are in the top 30 schools in the u.s-does anyone have something more acurate (regreading the ranking)

I think your excatlly on the mark in your comments:

last year i've applied to columbia & berkeley to LLM ( law school ) & got excepted to both but at berkeley(with lower yield then Columbia) they offerd me some f.a ( it was just 15% ) & nothinbg in Columbia.

I know from other candiate that got excepted but got A strong F.A at the uni' with the low yield and usually nothing or low F.A at the top schools ( in canda and the u.s)

סתם משהו קטן ששמעתי מחבר :בחור שהגיש חיבורים לאוניברסיטה בארה"ב -דווקא לא ללימודים מנע"ס

בחיבור אחד הוא התרשל וסיים אותו עם פנייה לאוניברסיטה לא נכונה,הוא כתב בסוף משהו בסגנון "and that's why i feel Berkeley is the best place for me"

אני כבר חבר כשנה וחצי בפורום ורק בימים אלו אני נערך לרישום לאונ' ואשמח לספר מחויותי על תהליך המשותף לכולנו קצת על עצמי:

סיימתי תואר ראשון במשפטים בהצטיינות לאחר שירות במשרד ראש הממשלה.

כיום אני מחלק את זמני בין שירותי ייעוץ לעסקים בתחום היזמות העיסקית crises management ובמקביל אני משמש סמנכ"ל של עמותה -(השמטתי הפרטים מפאת כללי הפורום)[שנוסדה בשנת 1998, על-ידי חבורת צעירים בשנות העשרים לחייהם במטרה לשפר את המציאות החברתית הקשה הקיימת בישראל .מתוך הכרה בכך שמוביליות חברתית מתאפשרת על-ידי ההשכלה, מפעילה העמותה פרוייקטים שונים של האצה לימודית לילדים ולבני נוער מכיתה א' ועד י"ב בכל רחבי הארץ.]

כרגע אני עובד על ה- GMAT ומתחיל להתכונן לשלב החיבורים.

בעבר עשיתי GRE ו TOEFL ואשמח לענות על שאלות בנושא .

what kind of finnancial aid do the top mba school have ( not a loan- followships & scohlarships) and what is the most importent about gettting them – is that good grades or rather excellent letter recomandation or finnacial background? ?

i'm thinking strongley about lauder /mit/wharton and columbia what is my aim for a gmat course taken the fact that i'm in my deans list of b.a in law+ buisness ( top 8% of the class av/ 90 ) and that i have a very good toefl score. ( 280)

about lauder how is the third language ability is tested (if at all)? i have a very good spanish talking and reading but have grammer problems in my writing.

i have a ma in law + buisness- (deans list average 90) and i've been working for 3 years in a big law firm + a managmant office in a non profit org. for the last 2 years- and i'm thinking of mba.

fisrt ,how long before should i do the gmat and starts things- is it too late for enrollment in the fall of 2004? what about programs that starts in the spring ?

what about joint degree in int'l affirs and mba ( like The Lauder Program in wharton- or in columbia) is it doable? and what the chances of getting in ?

is it wise to use a professional aid in searching for a fellowship/ scholarships ? or to the appelication procces?

about the recommendation letters- i have a uniq one that is from the presedint of my university BUT it's genarall ( not answering the uni. deatiled questIons) is it useable? what about pepole who i work with that have" high status " can i use them >-(they are not my employ)
