גם אני לומד במיטב (יותר נכון כבר סיימתי את הקורס ועכשיו אני ממש לפני המבחן) ואני יכול לומר בצורה חד משמעית שחבל לכולם על הזמן אף מכון לא מתקרב לרמה של מיטב בהכנה לשני החלקים, הכמותי והמילולי

סיים איתי עוד בחור שלמד לפני כן בפרינסטון, והוא אומר שאין בכלל מה להשוות (ופרינסטון אמורים כביכול להיות הכי טובים)

אם אתם שואלים מה כל כך טוב במיטב, אז התשובה היא פשוטה: אף אחד לא מלמד את מה שהם מלמדים. בעצם אף אחד לא מלמד את החומר שצריך ללמד למבחן, במיוחד בכל מה שקשור לחלק המילולי. מעבר לכך מדובר בקורס קטן מאד (כארבעה תלמידים בלבד) ובשני מורים מעולים עם נסיון של שנים בתחום (בניגוד למכונים אחרים שנותנים לאיזה סטודנט שהוציא ציון גבוה ללמד). כמו-כן, מיטב מאפשרים למי שלא הוציא ציון מספק במבחן לעשות השלמות לקראת המבחן השני ללא תוספת תשלום. אני אישית התחלתי עם ציון באיזור ה- 500 ועכשיו אני עומד על מעל 700

בנוסף, כל מי שמכיר את מיטב (ולצערי לא הרבה מכירים) רק מחלק מחמאות

I didn;t mention it but I'm not thinking about this year, but the next year and I was wondering if there is aany risk about that regarding getting the student visa?

I'm thinking about registering to the green card lottery and I wonder whether it could prevent me from getting the student visa (in a case that I don't win the lottery) after getting accepted to a university.

אני שמעתי את אחד המראיינים הישראליים עצמם (סטנפורד) מציין שלראיון שנערך בישראל רצוי להופיע עם מכנסי khakis וחולצה מכופתרת (אני לא זוכר אם צוינה עניבה,אבל לא נראה לי שבבית קפה יש צורך בעניבה).

בכל אופן צוין במפורש business casual.

I will apply to sep' 2005 (so I still have a lot of time).

I really don't know yet where I want to study. I haven't done my reaserch yet so right now any school is an option. I can say that the east coast and the midwest are better options.

Well the presentation itself was a little bit poor, but I think that this wasn't the main issue. One will hear the same things in those presentation.

The main part is speaking to the students oneXone. This is where you see the difference and get the most important information. So, the advantage of this evening was the ability to talk to a large number of students personally.

We'll see what is going to be tomorrow (1/1/04) in the Kellog meeting.

2. I've heard that the neighbourhoods surrounding the University of Chicago are dangerous and that the area outside of the university is bad in general. Is that true?

I consider Johnson Business Scholl as one of my top chioces.

1. Is there a requirment in JBS from graduates that come from a non-economical backround as me (law) to take extra base courses such as statistics or micro-economics?

2. In a case that the answer to my first question is yes, is it possible to take these courses here in Israel and have them approved by JBS?
