What amounts to substantial work experience? Will serving in a managerial role count as part of my experience? – Is the selectivity of the 1y program greater than the 2Y program?

How hard is it to find jobs in management consulting after the 1Y, will an internship be less important in this field?

Why do you think the 1y program is less popular with Israelis – if I take into account the opportunity costs- Kellogg 1Y is around $90K cheaper than any other 2 year program.

Is the application document itself critical to the application? E.g. at Harvard you must provide a short description of your job and challenges at work – are they important in the grand scheme of the application? How are they treated?

Up to three endowed fellowships are available annually offering full tuition, annual stipend of $15,000 along with mentoring and professional development by business leaders in the Chicago area facilitated by the Jewish United Federation. The Carlton fellowships are designed to strengthen the Israeli economy through the education and professional development of business and government leaders. To be eligible, applicants must be an Israeli who will return to Israel within five years of completing the MBA. Note that in the event that the student does not return to live and work in Israel, the tuition and stipend awards convert to loans to be repaid in four equal installments in the 5^th -8^th year post-graduation.

Just wondering if it’s worth giving up a fair job in Israel and leave the country for 5 years. When you come back you’ll be competing in a local market where the people you left behind established themselves and you’ll be broke as you had to repay your graduate loan.

Does an MBA really carry a premium in the local job market? – aren’t you considered an outsider?

Is it realistic to pay back the loan in 3 years?
