JHammer – i am not sure about the R2 schools either at this point, since the only real reason for them being my second choice is not because of fit but rather comfort for my family. In that respect I plan to continue pursuing them as I hope to be able to choose from scholarships… (Wishful thinking right? Why am I not just satisfied with being accepted!)

Aren't you waiting for your HBS answer this week too?

I agree with your assumption that London is a great city to work, learn and live in. However, I believe that even if you learn in Europe you can still work in the U.S. of for a U.S. company. The opposite direction (from U.S. to Europe) for work, in my opinion is more complicated. In many ways it is similar to trying to get a job here in Israel right after you graduate (without experience..).

Do I understand you correctly that you prefer LBS or Insead over HBS because of Europe?

Well, – That's it. I'm Done. Literally.

Despite a crazy couple of weeks at work and at home (family affairs) I managed to get both second round applications in on time.

Now it is a waiting and hopefully an interviewing game. I really don't know if I could be more stressed out, even if I was before an interview!

2. I am curious as to your post MBA goals. Mine are a career switch towards VC. Does Kellogg have a strong VC oriented group? I know they are a good support for career switching but I am interested in their support of this particualr venue.

Send them an e-mail and better now than later.

All it shows is your genuine interest in the school and you are not violating policy as you had a legitimate e-mail problem. Maybe you can even get some kind of official "error" e-mail from Bezeq confirming the problem and supposting your case.

I just finished my interview.

Considering I am in bed with pneunmonia, and had two coughing fits during our chat, I think it went very well . It was with a first year student who knew my entire application and more (he must have Googled some of my previous jobs). Question were pretty standard: What is success? Work in Teams? Team failure? Why MBA now?

I it did today despite being sick since I had already postponed it from the beginning of the week and they said that if I wanted to do the interview before the holiday break then I need to do it by the end of the week. So I did.

That might mean you won't get an interview until after the holidays.

It is sad to see the second of my top two choices officially gone (after HBS to which I did not get an interview invite). However, it is good to see that at least Babson is showing some interest.
