תוכנית למשפטים הציונים ומכתבי ההמלצה הם הכי חשובים – ממוצע 80 הוא גבולי אבל אפשר להתקבל לחלק מהאוניברסיטאות הטובות (אבל כנראה לא ייל או הרווארד) מנהל עסקים יש דגש חזק יותר על ניסיון עבודה ופעילות חברתית ומכתבי המלצה ולא רק על ציוני התואר ולכן הממוצע מספיק להתקבל בהנחה שיש לך ניסיון עבודה וכו'

in boston there is MIT and HBS which are the top

but also babson, boston college and boston university have good MBA prog and you can also get better scholarships in those schools

if you are not not to picky you will always find a job that can pay for the loans – but after investing the time and the money usually you don't want only a job that will pay back the loans you want to have a career that you will love and enjoy… That is way you should think about what you want to do in the future and go to the school that will help you build the career..

NYU, Columbia, Chicago wharton will all be amazing for finance. Tuck, HBS etc will put you in the consulting easily.

But it is not a white and black answer – and it is all depends on the market during the time of graduation and also about yourself (how good you are in interview etc)

i am not sure which university u are in Israel but some of them you can do a semester or two in the state in the top schools and u don't pay so much for that… so u should think about that also and check it with your school

you should call the number in Holland and send the score to the schools.. you will get a confirmation number during the phone call and a receipt in the mail ater few days. I did that last year and it work perfect and the school got the score the next day or so…

they have a very strong finance program and the school have a huge advantage by being in the heart of ny… It is also a state school so the price is not so high (i am not sure but for interational student it is around 10K a year or something like that). I am not sure if it is a top 25 school but i know that the school is working hard to become a leading program.

there is a very nice israeli prof (Avner wolf) – you should try and talk with him maybe about the program

הי אכן נראה לי שדיברנו על אינסיאד בעבר…. עבר די הרבה זמן מאז. אני לא נוסע לאזור בוסטון אלא לניו יורק.

אני ביקרתי שנה שעברה בכמה מהבתי ספר – ולדעתי TUCK הוא מספר אחד. בית ספר מדהים ונראה לי שללמוד שם זו חוויה מטורפת (בעיקר למי שאוהב לעשות סקי ואוהב את החורף)

מרבית התוכניות של דוקטורט בארה"ב דורשות רק תואר ראשון לקבלה ומעניקות לך תואר שני ודוקטור – ואם יש לך כבר תואר שני אז אתה יכול לקבל מספר פטורים מכמה קורסים של תואר שני. יש כמה תוכניות אשר מעניקות דוקטורט לבוגרי תואר שני במסלול מקוצר אבל זה תוכניות ברמה מאוד נמוכה (שאתה יכול לעשות את התואר בהתכתבות אפילו מהארץ).

לגבי הקבלה – הדרישה היא אחד מהמבחנים הבאים:

GMAT או GRE

כאשר חלק מהתוכניות לא מקבלות גמאט – כגון תוכנית המימון באוניברסיטת קולומביה

הדגש בקבלה הוא לא על ניסיון העבודה או פעילות חברתית כמו בתואר שני במנהל עסקים אלא על ציונים, יכולת מחקר (למשל אם כבר פירסמת מאמרים או לא) ועל המלצות אך ורק מאנשי אקדמיה ולא מבוסים ממקומות העבודה
