Chevening Scholarships for study in the UK – apply now !

We are now accepting applications for the Chevening Scholarship scheme for the academic year 2009/2010.

U/UU face=Verdana Chevening Scholarships/U are prestigious awards which enable Israeli students to study for post graduate degrees at UK universities. They are funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and managed by the British Council.

All fields of study are considered, but priority is given to subject areas related to politics and government, conflict prevention, economic and regional development, law and human rights, environment, media, business and economics, information technology and applied science

Applications can ONLY be made online through the U/UU face=Verdana Foreign and Commonwealth Office electronic online application system e-Chevening/U.

U/UU face=Verdana Guidance Notes/U for applicants are available on our U/UU face=Verdana website/U

The deadline for applications is 12 December 2008 and late or incomplete applications will not be accepted by the online system. Short-listed candidates will be invited to interview in January/February 2009. Due to the number of applicants we can not discuss individual applications.

hi there,

i could not let this go…..
remember that summer internship and second year project are worth on average 10,000£
you might get a scholarship (i got the British council=22,000£) and there are A LOT of school scholarships

you get a signing bonus of around 15,000-18,000£

crunch these numbers, calc. the NPV,ROI etc…

and remember that there is always latvia univ.

just thuoght i add my 2 cents for this discussion,
you should remember that there is the British Counil scholarship for ~22K GBP (application deadline is today i think), and on top of that there are nomerous school and external scholarships.
in addition, in case you are married, your partner WILL get a work permit, so over all you are not not as deep in the hole as you think.

all in all, an MBA abroad IS an investment, on top of the fact the you are going to let go of your current salary,

that said, like the logo of a small company i know states – "Just do It" !!
